It is two days until Australia Day so tonight’s style challenge is in honour of our national colours: green and gold.
When I looked through my wardrobe, I realised I don’t wear a lot of green and gold clothing (Lucy, if you’re reading this, I promise I wear my Wallabies supporter scarf every day) but I have plenty of jewellery which meets the dress code.
From my wardrobe:
Here are a few of my green and gold ‘sparkly things’ which I will wear this week:
Left: Stone and gold drop earrings // Right: Elk multi-strand wooden necklace (ooh look, Elk is have a sale on their sale this week. You’re welcome!)
Left: Country Road gold circle studs and bracelet (still available here and here)// Right: Green-dipped wooden earrings from Adelaide-based Mint Cloud Studio (bought at Atore, Melrose.)
For your wardrobe: 3 under $30
- Witchery has similar – and cheaper – gold disc earrings for $19.95.
- If you are looking for a delicate gold bracelet, I found this lovely one on Etsy for $29.82 (from an Australian seller).
- Down That Little Lane is a treasure trove of sparkly things, like these simple gold bar earrings which are on sale for $13.97 until Tuesday!
