Sunday night style challenge: rings on her fingers

Rings

Working from home has its perks, but I do miss dressing up to go to an office. So, I’m challenging myself to put more effort into my stay-at-home style this year.

Of course, living on a farm means I might get a call from Mr M to help move vehicles or shut a gate at a moment’s notice, so I certainly won’t be wearing heels. Instead, I’m starting with a few fun accessories.

If you want to play along, the style challenge for the week ahead is to add some bling to your hands.

From my wardrobe:

Here are some of my favourite rings:

Ring_engagement
My beautiful engagement and wedding rings, picked out by Mr M. Classic, elegant and sparkly: his choice was perfect!

Ring_artdeco
I love this statement Art Deco ring, from a boutique on Magill Road in Adelaide. It goes with a little black dress like champagne goes with strawberries!

Ring_stone
Another piece from Mr M (he does spoil me), from Queenstown, New Zealand. The chunky style and rough surface of the stone add a tough edge to an outfit.

Ring_delicate
This dainty ring from Have You Met Charlie in Adelaide is perfect for when I don’t want to over-accessorise.

Ring_bright
I found these gold and semi-precious stone rings on Etsy, and I’m planning on getting a couple more colours to stack together or wear separately.

For your wardrobe:

If want some new ring bling, here are some online shops which have gorgeous pieces:

  • Samantha Wills has beautiful boho and gypsy styles.
  • Online market place Down That Little Lane has so many beautiful rings, including personalised styles from Monkeys Always Look.
  • If you’re looking for something fun, check out these quirky styles at Naomi Murrell.

(Please note, these are just for inspiration not a personal endorsement of these shops)

Love, Mrs M xx

  1. You legend Mrs M … I need some more bling for my fingers. I love rings and you’ve given me something to reward myself with after I learn my opera arias. Keep up the great work.
